Kat Boone was raised in the Tampa Bay area. She has studied the arts her whole life, entering her first painting into an art show at the age of nine she knew she was destined for a life in the arts when she received her first blue ribbon.

Since then Kat has pursued many different mediums including oil painting, pastels, graphic design and photography.

It wasn't until her first daughter was born that she valued the preciousness of the photograph. Becoming a mother gave her a new found appreciation for the art of photography. She then understood how priceless it was to capture those moments in life that create your own family story. Snapping photos around the home soon became more than a part time hobby. Before she knew it Kat was taking pictures for her friends and family and it didn't take long before someone asked her for her business card. Soon with the help of her husband Rick, A Kat's Eye Photography was born!

Receiving an awesome education in Graphic Design from Santa Fe Community College and the University of Florida Kat brings her own twist into the partnership of digital photography and digital enhancements and design. Kat feels at home taking pictures of families, especially children. Presently Kat is a full time 5th grade teacher and is fulfilling all of her dreams at once, being a mom, a teacher and an artist.
